All Australians have the right to housing that is safe, appropriate, affordable, and sustainable. However, due to a number of factors, homelessness is now at a crisis point and in danger of becoming entrenched in our capital cities. This crisis is now even more urgent with the devastating impacts of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic is disproportionately impacting the thousands of people experiencing homelessness in our capital cities.
