The Lord Mayors of Australia's capital cities have welcomed the release of the 2011 State of Australian Cities Report and the launch of the Liveable Cities Program by Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Anthony Albanese in Brisbane today.
"The State of Australian Cities report provides a wealth of information about our cities, giving us a valuable insight into what everyday life is like for the 16 million Australians who live or work in our cities," said Rob Valentine, Lord Mayor of Hobart and Chair of the Council of Capital City Lord Mayors (CCCLM).
